The Demon Buddha – Episode 2: The Name, The Path, The Purpose

Hello ladies and gentlemen from all around the world 👋🏾

This is The Demon Buddha and I go by the name SITRUS 🍊

yes — episode 2

and we finally got a name: The Demon Buddha.

I didn't pick that name because it sounds edgy. I didn't pick it because it's clickable. I picked it because it's true. It's what I've lived through. It's the paradox I carry and it's the essence of what I want to offer this world 🌍 you see — once you start walking the spiritual path long enough, you come to a fork in the road: ✨ You can sit on a mountain,bathe in bliss, and vanish into the void, or...you can walk back down — and serve.

But let me be real with you: I've walked through fire to get here 🔥

My path wasn't a straight line. It was zigzagging through tribal traditions, Christian boarding schools, full-blown atheism…then crawling back to spirit through meditation, yoga, and some seriously intense discipline practices. which — frankly — I find almost impossible for a modern person to do 😅 But when life brings you to your knees,when everything you thought was solid breaks apart…something changes.

A man humbled by life is finally ready to search.not just outside — but inside.

Through every corner of the world, through every book, teacher, trip, breakdown…chasing something he can't yet name.

that thirst? it wasn’t for fame, or money, or even peace.

It was for truth. For understanding.

and what he didn’t know was: it starts with knowledge —but it must end in wisdom 💎

the kind of wisdom that turns the lead of suffering into the gold of insight.

and once you find that wisdom? you realize — it's meant to be shared.

That’s when the real journey begins.

I grew up with village gods. Then I got baptized in logic. I spent nights in conspiracy tunnels, and days in the rat race. Until one day — I snapped.

Not in a dramatic movie way,but quietly. A moment when you stop pretending,and something in you says: “it’s now or never.”

So here I am. The Demon Buddha. Not your guru. Not your savior. Just a soul who's made a lot of mistakes — and turned a few into wisdom 🧠

So what's in the name?

I wrestled with this title. Would people get it? Would they laugh? be offended? would it scare them off?

probably.

but frankly — I don't care anymore. If people can make a living showing their private parts and spreading nonsense, then I can damn well handle the bullshit that comes with doing something meaningful.

Because The Demon Buddha is real. It’s the light and the shadow 🌗 the beauty and the beast 🐉 the angel and the rage 😇😈

It’s what happens when someone learns to stop running from their darkness —and learns to sit with it. learn from it.

Because if you're gonna wake up spiritually in this world…you better be ready to face the jungle inside 🌿

But let me be clear: I'm not here trying to police the world 🚫 I'm not here to tell everyone how to behave — while turning a blind eye to my own mess.

none of us are perfect.I'm no exception.

But don’t you think we’ve gone a bit too far?

like we've bought into this fantasy that more things, more status, more followers will somehow equal happiness.

And we’ve tried it. Over and over. The dopamine hits. The likes. The validation. It works — for a second.

But then what?

you're right back where you started.same void. same emptiness.same what now?

it’s like chasing shadows in a funhouse mirror 🎭

so yeah. Once you've hit that point in life where you're asking:

is this really it?

like… is there something more than what we've been told?is there a way to feel more fulfilled than what we've convinced ourselves to believe?

when the stuff you chased starts to feel empty. when life sucked the juice out of you 🍋 when even the highs don’t hit the same anymore…

that’s when the real questions start to bubble up 💭

Is God real?is any of this real?is there a way to figure my way out of miseryand have the life of my dreams?

yes, says the Demon Buddha.

It ain’t easy — but there certainly is.

At first, all this spiritual talk probably sounds useless.it's not gonna make you rich 💰it's not gonna get you laid 🍑 might not even make you more friends.might do the opposite.

But stay with it.

Give it time.

You’d be surprised how much your chances of real success go up once you start getting wiser.

Once you stop making the same dumb mistakes.

Once you learn how to face your demons — instead of running from them 🐍

It's easy to fall into the trap: drugs, distractions, party life in your teens 🎉then ego games and empty flexes in your 20s 📸

But if this wisdom — even a spark of it — can cut through the noiseand reach some of the people in that gap…

Then the Demon Buddha can rest easy.

He’ll know the message is getting through...he’ll know the work is being done.

So yeah — this esoteric stuff might not hand you anything at first.

in fact, it starts by taking away.it strips the lies.burns the fluff.and leaves you naked in front of the truth 🔥 that’s the painful part. You can suffer through it — or you can walk through it with your head up.

This podcast is here to help you walk through it gladly. bravely.

so when you come out the other side? you’re not broken.

you’re sharpened.

you’re ready.
